Machinery industry growth rate continued to rise slightly

From January to May of 2016, the growth rate of the industrial added value of the above-scaled machinery industry continued to rebound slightly, and was also higher than the growth rate of national industrial added value over the same period. The growth rate of the added value of most middle-class industries was higher than that of the previous year. Among the 64 products in monthly statistics, 31 products increased from January to May of the previous year, accounting for 48.8% of all products reported. Details are as follows:

The growth rate continued to rise slightly

From January to May, the value-added of industrial enterprises above the designated size in the machinery industry increased by 7.6% over the same period of last year, an increase of 2.1 percentage points over the same period of the previous year and an increase of 0.3 percentage points from January to April. At the same time, the national industrial added value growth rate was 1.7 percentage points higher than that of the same period, and the growth rate of industrial added value showed a slight upward trend for three consecutive months.

In terms of sub-industries, the growth rate of industrial added value of 31 medium-sized industries among the 49 medium-sized industries in the statistics has increased from January to May of the previous year, of which 7 industries have increased by more than 5 percentage points.

The growth rate of the added value of 18 medium-sized industries decreased from January to May of the previous year. The major declines were the production of automobile body trailers, the manufacture of railway transport equipment, the manufacture of special equipment for electronics and electrical machinery, and the manufacture of other instrumentation, and general zero. Component manufacturing and container and metal packaging container manufacturing, the decline are more than 4 percentage points.

Increase in output of major products

Of the 64 main products in this month's statistics, there were 33 cumulative year-on-year increases, which accounted for 51.6% of all reported products; nine kinds, which accounted for double-digit growth, accounted for 14.1% of all reported products; and 31 products were produced. It decreased from last year and accounted for 48.4% of all reported products.
