How the jaw crusher works

Due to the rotation of the drive shaft, the movable jaw is periodically oscillated about the suspension mandrel. When the movable jaw is close to the fixed jaw, the ore between the jaws is broken by the combined action of extrusion, splitting and bending. When the movable jaw exits the fixed jaw, the broken ore is discharged through the discharge port under the action of gravity. The material that is not completely broken in the upper part of the crushing chamber also falls to the lower part of the crushing chamber, and is again subjected to the force to continue to be broken. As the drive shaft rotates continuously, the material is continuously broken and discharged from the discharge port in time. Therefore, the jaw crusher is a crushing device that works intermittently.
