The Bosch Malar Turbocharger System (BMTS) recently opened a wholly-owned subsidiary in Shanghai under the name Bosch Müller Turbocharging Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The new company’s headquarters is currently under construction and is located in the Mahle Shanghai branch. After the completion of the new plant, the site area will reach 5,000 square meters, and will initially supply turbochargers and gasoline engines for the Chinese market. At present, BMTS is training 100 new employees in Austria and Germany. These employees will be placed in new subsidiaries. The new plant is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2014, with a capacity of 1 million turbocharged units. Device/year.
