On March 4, the new 100,000-ton hydrogen peroxide plant with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons began to be hydrogen-fed and the qualified hydrogen peroxide solution with a concentration of 27.5% was produced on March 6th, marking the success of the device. The newly-built annual 100,000-ton hydrogen peroxide project is an ancillary project for 200,000 tons of caprolactam production and potential transformation of the company. The total investment is 128 million yuan. Construction started on October 9, 2010. At present, the new hydrogen peroxide plant operates smoothly and produces about 13 tons of hydrogen peroxide per hour. The annual output will reach 230,000 tons, which will reduce the outsourcing of hydrogen peroxide and ensure the supply of caprolactam after the capacity expansion.
