The CC8800TWIN crawler crane is highly maneuverable during the construction process; under the new innovative concept, the crane boom can be freely lifted on the crawler chassis, which is a true mobile crane.
The dual-arm system increases lifting capacity. The machine design is based on the Terex-Demag CC8800 crane (maximum lifting capacity of 1250t, currently sold 11 units worldwide). Through the dual-arm system, the boom structure of the CC8800 crane is scientifically combined to form the CC8800TWIN double-arm structure.
The first CC8800TWIN crawler crane has been sold to the UAE. Alexa Heavy Lifting & Transport Co., Ltd., located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has signed an order for CC8800TWIN crawler cranes with Terex-Demag before the official launch of the product. The crane will be delivered in 2007 and will be used mainly in large projects, especially in large oil tanks and reactors. Al Jaber Heavy Lifting & Transportation Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the Al Jaber Group and is principally engaged in the large lifting and transportation of oil and gas.

Terex Demag further expanded its line of crawler cranes and introduced the new 3,000-ton crawler crane CC8800TWIN, which has a maximum lifting capacity of 3,200 tons and a lifting torque of 40,500 tm.
