In addition to general industrial process control, there are many applications in laboratories and pilot plants where minimal flow needs to be controlled. With this small flow rate, the full open flow rate is less than that of a typical valve. Therefore, Machining, general process is not guaranteed, the only way to solve the problem is to calibrate the flow characteristics of each valve experiment to the final calibration, specific, real flow to illustrate. Structural Forms There are basically two ways to address low flow control problems: (1) Special trim parts are used in standard bodies. This method can usually do Kv = 0.03 or so. (2) The use of special trim parts in standard bodies offers good economy and scalability as this will reduce the need for spare parts for special valve bodies and actuators, as well as facilitate future flow expansion ( Only need to replace the standard valve body parts).
