The newly built 70,000-ton/year MTBE plant of Qingdao Petrochemical Company has successfully driven and passed the product quality inspection. This marks the end of Qingdao Petrochemical's history of relying on outsourced MTBE devices for gasoline blending.

The newly-built MTBE plant of Qingdao Petrochemical started construction in June and was transferred in mid-term on November 10th and then transferred to the start-up phase. After careful preparation, the device was fed on the morning of December 5, and qualified MTBE products were produced on the afternoon of December 6.

After the success of the MTBE plant, Qingdao Petrochemical can further increase the proportion of reconciling high-grade gasoline, and the company is expected to find new growth points.
