NTN Develops "ULTAGE Sealed Four-row Tapered Roller Bearing"

NTN developed the "ULTAGE sealed four-row tapered roller bearing" for the roll neck of the rolling mill. Improved design of seals and internal construction, improved sealing and load carrying. With nine products with an outside diameter of approximately 300-850mm, it will be sold globally.

Bearings used in the roll neck of a rolling mill require resistance to cooling water, dust, and the like in addition to vibration, shock, and load during operation. As a result, Endenov improved the internal structural design of the conventional sealed four-row tapered roller bearing. This development achieves uniform pressure at the contact surface of the bearing rolling elements subjected to external loads and increases the load capacity.

In addition, the new product has also adopted a compact design while improving sealability. As a result, the bearing life is increased to 1.6 times that of the original product, and the bearing performance and water resistance are increased to more than 2 times that of the original product.
