It is understood that "Kairui" was the name of Chery's first dual-use vehicle model. At present, this model, known as "Kerry 3", has a modest sales volume in Chery's product line. It is now part of Chery's platform and belongs to the mini vehicle. Sales company management.

"When that time, Ruiqi 2' will be renamed, and it will no longer use the 'Ruiqi' term so as to be unified with the entire 'Kairui' brand," said a person familiar with Chery Automobile.

At the same time, the new "Kairui" brand will also include Q21 and Q22 models that have not yet been announced. It is reported that the code-named Q21 is a mini-car that can take 7 people, or will be listed in March next year; code-named Q22 is a mini-car that can take 9 people, or will be listed in July next year.

In addition, according to the reporter’s understanding, the upcoming Kai Rui brand will continue to independently expand its sales and service network on the basis of Chery’s micro-vehicle sales and service channels. As of now, Chery's micro-vehicle sales companies have laid out about 150 sales service outlets in China. Next year, these outlets will all be updated as "Kairui" channels.
