Japan's July sales of 328,000 vehicles increased by 36% year-on-year

Recently, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association (JADA) announced the sales of the Japanese automobile market in July.

JADA statistics show that in July this year, the total sales of automobiles in the Japanese automobile market were 328,543 units (excluding mini-vehicle sales), an increase of 36.1% over the same period of last year.

Excluding mini vehicles, Toyota Motor Corp. ranked No. 1 in sales in July, up 60% year-on-year to 170,147 units; followed by Honda sales up 35.5% to 45,627 units; Nissan ranked third, sales up 7.4% year-on-year to 44 885 cars.

In July, 24,867 vehicles were imported from Japan, an increase of 16.2% year-on-year. In the same period last year, the number of imported automobiles was approximately 21,400.
