Automotive ignition system low voltage circuit troubleshooting

Automotive ignition system low voltage circuit troubleshooting

Whether the ignition system of a car is healthy or not has a direct impact on whether the car engine can play a role, so to remind users and owners of daily maintenance, in addition to focusing on the operation of large automotive parts, but also do not ignore the ignition system of this small part! The following are several ways to detect the failure of the ignition system's low-voltage circuit. We hope that we can provide daily users with the help of daily maintenance.

1. Press the horn and the headlights are on. A screwdriver or wire is used to test the ignition on the “-” terminal of the ignition coil. If there is no fire, the ignition coil is connected to the ammeter to open circuit. If the connection between the terminal and the wire is loose or the contact is poor, the terminal should be cleaned and the fixing nut tightened. If the wire is broken, replace the wire. The replaced wire should be the same as the original wire.

2. The horn does not sound, and the headlights are off. Test the fire on the starter binding post with a wire. If there is a fire, the fault is the line break between the starter terminal to the ammeter; if there is no fire, the fault is the battery power shortage or its line fault. The battery power is insufficient and should be charged; the line is open circuited and should be reconnected.

3. Test the fire with the screwdriver on the “-” terminal of the ignition coil. If there is a fire, test the fire between the contact arm and the bottom plate of the distributor. If there is a fire, the contact is faulty, and the "Platinum sand bar" can be used to remove the fault by grinding the contacts and adjusting the contact gap. If there is no fire, go to the next step.

4. Test the fire at distributor insulation post and distributor shell. If there is no fire, it is the disconnection fault between the distributor insulation post and the ignition coil “-” connection post; if there is a fire, the insulation bracket is up to Broken wire between insulation posts. If the terminal is in poor contact with the wire and the power is off, clean the terminal and the wire head. If the wire is broken, replace the wire with the wire of the same specification.

301 Stainless Steel Cut Wire Shot

Longlived 301 Stainless Steel Shot is made from high quality 301 stainless steel wire by drawing, cutting and round. It has been widely used on surface treatment of springs, gears, screws, chains and many other dis casting parts for surface treatment of deburring, anti-corrosion, anti-fatigue and so on.

Its advantage is as below:

1. It is obtained by cutting the wire so that there is no hallowness one in bulk. It has a great durability and long service life. It's

2. The cutting process is fully completed by automatic machine so its particle fineness is extremely uniform.

3. Grinding process changes the surface of Stainless Steel Shot to make parts have a fine and smooth surface.

4. It has a great characteristics of moderate hardness, high strength and good toughness. When used in shot blasting machine, it will not be broken easily and could save much time and cost.

5. It will not rust even in a wet environment for a long time due to its material of stainless steel.

Using Longlioved 301 Stainless Steel Shot could make shot blasting faster, safer and cleaner. Welcome all of clients to connect with us to learn more.
